In immemorial times the artist whose name nobody remembers, on whim of the tempted Khan had weaved cloth of atlas, having reflected paints of rising sun of the native land in it. Thereby the weaver saved his life and began history of weaving of Uzbek fabrics. The unique techniques of ancient compounding are known little today, but they are not lost, partly due to grants of the Fund Forum the most ancient techniques of sericulture are restored. The fabrics used in Gulnara’s collections are weaved using these techniques, therefore paints do not fade on them and allow colours of sunrise to admire as before.
